The challenge

Refresh social media graphics for the SLFL William Hill Premiership league.

With the rise of the 24/7 news cycle, football fans expect updates instantly. Brands and teams need to be prepared with visuals to share this information quickly, whilst staying on brand and on message. Throw in the addition of sponsor logos to shake up any consistent visual style you thought you had, and things can get messy quickly.

Our experience with projects such as Kilmarnock FC, the SWPL and SWF led the SLFL (a lot of acronyms, we know) to contact us about a suite of visual assets that would future-proof their digital presence for the upcoming league.

The solution

Engaging designs that could be easily updated with new content by SPFL's teams.

We all know how important strong visuals are on social media – especially in the non-stop world of football. So we got to work on playing around with some concepts that were exciting, on brand, and, super importantly, easy to swap out with various team badges, player info and more.

Thanks to the power of Adobe Photoshop – and some very nicely organised layers – we were able to preload a suite of assets the SPFL could update quickly and easily.

The results

A suite of social media graphics that hit the back of the net, every time.

At Scoot, we understand the importance of fan buy-in and sponsors in football, so our specialist sports experience really came into play to make sure all stakeholders were considered.

From league tables and team of the week, to news updates and stats centre data, we delivered graphics that were on brand, on message, and on point.
