With a legacy spanning over 150 years, Kilmarnock Football Club has a legion of fans who support them on the pitch, as well as online. Their old website had served them well, but was no longer providing fans with the experience they were looking for and didn’t present them as the successful institution that they are.
Kilmarnock FC was looking for a site that would integrate seamlessly with live match data and provide over 50,000 monthly users with an engaging hub of information and news. Delivered with See Saw Creative, we took on the challenge of creating a site that delivered on both form and function.
We tackled their problems with data. User testing, analytics and heatmap testing led us to create strategic wireframes and user journeys that would present fans with the information they want in an efficient, engaging way.
Design was kept simple yet effective, with sub-brands created for Academy and Hospitality to allow these areas of Kilmarnock FC to appeal to their differing audiences. With squad and club information frequently changing, pages had to be quick and simple to edit, so clean & functional design was at the forefront of the final product.
