The challenge

A bespoke school website design that delivers results.

Following a fine-tuning of their school values and mission, Wellington School was looking for a brand new website. Scoot had the pleasure of teaming up with See Saw to add functionality to their design. Wellington wanted to break away from the traditional mould of standard independent school websites and showcase their personality to users.

As the first point of contact for prospective parents, their new site had to make a strong first impression whilst sharing all necessary information in clear, easy to follow user journeys.

The solution

A school website design powered by a fully-considered digital strategy.

Users of their old site were often confused and not able to find the wealth of information that was hidden behind unintuitive page structures and unstructured predefined paths. With a strong understanding of Wellington’s brand and core values, we paired up with See Saw to create and develop a digital presence to provide a clean, uncluttered web design that was simple, yet effective.

Wellington’s site not only had to look good, but make sense to its users.

We worked closely with their team to develop an improved information architecture based on data from their current users and feedback from key stakeholders.

The results

A school website design that’s top of the class.

Wellington’s new website places its ethos at front and centre, encouraging engagement from all user types – staff members, existing pupils and prospective families.

Utilising a strong yet simple design system, their new site is receiving top grades from all users and continues to perform at the top of the class.
